2nd Step (5 languages of God)

Ok so lately ive been thinking and ive come up with the 5 languages of God. I came up with this when i was thinking and emailing old Harvey. Yeah so this is the list. Its based kinda around the 5 love languages (words of affirmation, touch, quality time, gifts and acts of service) I just see it as like a relationship for a mate of yours. Anyhow-

Prayer
Bible
Worship
Church
Actions

Prayer is talking to God. Just as you would to your friend. I dont see it so much as asking for things to be done etc. Although dont get me wrong. It is! But its a way of communicating with God. I reckon that its an act of faith, for example when we pray out aloud in a group or for others it shows that we have faith to do it. i mean i never used to pray aloud and fully hated it. But lately ive had some insight and realise its very important and ive become alot more comfortable in prayer (whether aloud or alone). I also reckon that along with some prayer action is needed. Like the invisible children. The prayer is happening for them, but also people are taking action! Some prayer doesnt work out (Africa, friends illness etc) and people are hurt by the fact that God doesnt answer all prayer! But we need to push on and keep praying. I see it as an act of faith and a test of our faith (to keep peraying even when things dont happen). Everything happens for a reason. Whether good or bad. Some events can change people and affect them!

Bible reading is also very important! Reading the bible is like finding out more info on your friend. Like when you go for coffee. You learn more about your friend, how the act, what pisses them off and what makes them laugh. The bible is great! You can find alot of uplifting info in there, some funny stuff and alot of useful info! Well i have... Ma favorite is psalm 15! Yeah i read it everyday. I challenge you to do it aswell. Find a good time of day and just keep at it! Make it a routine. You don't have to do it for like 30 mins a day. Just whatever is good for you!

Worship is like thanking your friend (God) for what they have done. It can be done in many forms from the actual singing/playing to art to dance (krumping, bboying). Whatever suits aye. From stuff in groups (church) to alone time (worship cd?). What brooke said i thought was really good, if your not in the mood for it, dont front! Have quiet time!

Church is like going to your friends house. lol the house of God. You go there for worship, prayer and teaching! It's also very very important as it builds community and you can learn so much from other people! Church was defined as two or more people gathered in the name of God so it doesnt have to be in the traditional sense! I had a convo with rob about not going. You could be sweet by not going if you have the community. But i see now that its important and you should go to learn and build on relationships!

Last but not least is actions! You do stuff for your friends. So why not God? Even if it's not directly for him (like church stuff), but doing community stuff thats key! You do stuff in the name for him. So go out and do helpful and uplifting stuff or help out at church! Also prayer goes alongside with this and worship to! Actions can be worship!
