I challenge you!

Ok so today ive been sitting in the sun. Working that tan lol! I was having a chat to Scotty weiner about cell group and what not. But one thing came up and ive been thinking on it for the past few months or so! And that topic is challenges!

Yeah so as i said ive been thinking over challenges. Not that Americas next top model type stuff. More like the Survivor stuff in a sense! We as christians NEED to challenge each other about things. I think as a whole we dont do it enough or if at all!
We kind of just creep around each other! lol not ninja step cos you wont hear that! =D But we do talk to others about others or situations and dont actually pull each other up on things and talk to that person face to face. So really we are kind of backstabbing in a way. Which we arent supposed to do... hehe. soz!
Ive been trying to do my best lately, randomly springing on people in conversation as challenge them and pull them up on reading the bible =P The question of the day is do you read your bible every day/night???? I know i do and its soooo good! I learn lots and go over the stories told at Sunday school and not read the watered down versions. Ive stated it before (5 languages of God) why its so important!
So think of the Survivor challenges (like at the start of the show). They need to work as a team to succeed and beat the other teams. So we need to work together to overcome everything else and win the fight! lol pretty cheesy i know but it makes sense.

Ok so ill split them down to three things you need for challenging people!

Trust
Honesty
Love

Trust-Firm reliance on the integrity, ability, or character of a person or thing. How many people do you really know and trust? I know theres a few of ma best friends who i really really trust and will share pretty much anything with them. Trust is key in a relationship! Because say i challenged you and you didnt trust me, im pretty sure it would go in and out...
Honest-Characterized by truth; not false. Honesty is also key! If we arent honest to anyone, can we be honest with ourselves? Friends need to be honest with each other or they will end up not being friends. We need honesty to not creep around or just give watered down challenges!
Love- To have a deep affection for someone. I love ma best friends not in that relationship way (lets get married and have babies lol). But in the way that we have shared amazing times and that i cherish our friendship. So our love for our friends will be the motivation to challenge each other over various topics.

So i urge you all to become more honest, trust each other (with the fact that if they say something, they care for you and arent trying to be dicks) and have the love and motivation to want to do it! Challenge them on anything and everything! Do it like survivor! Ooooweee oooooooweeee ohweohweoh!
